Huge difference upgrade from previous Blu-ray.
What a major sound & picture difference on this new release. From sharpening, color correctness to dispersing the audio channels well. Impressive Atmos including over head sound instead of the traditional heavy front stage. It’s full dynamic, brighter higher levels oppose to sounding dull with low end punch.
Even the new Blu included has a new visual & audio treatment including a new 7.1 surround track from the previous 6.1 uncompressed.
Digital copy & steelbook case included.
I got this 4K copy to watch the movie for the first time (admittedly), and I thought it wasn't too bad of a movie, but the 4K upgrade is pretty nice. The look of it has a filmic touch, and while it's not too great looking, it's still the best out of the previous home media releases. Almost forgot to mention the Dolby Atmos track sounds really good when the music kicks in
This steelbook edition is my favorite of all the Dirty Dancing steelbooks. Bestbuy definitely got the best looking one. I originally missed out on it when it soldout so i was very excited to get the chance to buy it when it came back on backorder. Thank you Bestbuy for the awesome slipcover as well. Hope all the real fans got it!!!
