A: these new cords are absolutely durable! i absolutely love them and at half the cost of the apple ones! they must have stepped up on durability cause im careless with cords and they still feel brand new!

A: There are many adaptors sold on the Internet that should fit your needs and allow your IPod to work on your Bose docking station.

A: Not sure there is a difference. Might be as simple as the parts were bought from a different manufacturer. I have used dynex cables and found they last as long as the more expensive brands. They come with a year warranty. Next time send it in for a replacement.
