Elite Gourmet - 7-Egg Automatic Egg Cooker - Teal

I love my little "egg spaceship"! It is great to never worry if my boiled eggs will peel cleanly. After two years this little appliance is still going strong. It takes some practice to get it to make soft boiled eggs but once you get the amount of water just right the eggs cook consistently.

I bought this because I didn't want to watch a pot of boiling water while getting ready in the morning, and it's perfect for that. Put a couple eggs and water in, go do something else for 10 or 15 minutes, and then sit down for breakfast. (Maybe drop them in a bowl of cold tap water to cool them down if you want to eat quickly.) It will automatically shut itself off and make a continuous buzzing noise that is loud enough to hear from down a hall but will probably be drowned out by the radio or a closed door. I've used it a dozen times so far, and my only real complaint is that because it cooks using steam, it takes some trial and error to figure out how much water you need for how many eggs. Filling the plastic vial that came with the cooker is supposed to be enough to hard-boil a whole set of eggs, but at least in my unit, that leaves even two eggs a little soft in the center. Also, the egg cooker is surprisingly tiny, so even though I have limited counter space for single-purpose appliances, I never put it away.

Handiest little kitchen gadget I have ever bought. It does the job! Just make sure you follow the directions. It makes the best boiled eggs, poached and omelets. I use only distilled water, otherwise hard water leaves residue. When you poach or make omelets use a little oil to coat the pans. DO NOT place the omelet or poached egg pans on the heating element. Place them on the egg cooker! After my eggs are poached I just lightly dab them with a paper towel to remove any water laying on top of the eggs. This is great for a single person. If you have a family, I would suggest buying one of the larger units. Some users have reported the buzzer is annoying and some go so far as stating it startles them. It's a buzzer. It is no worse than most microwaves. This saves me having to boil water and stand watch as my eggs cook. I use it every day and highly recommend it.

My husband said that the Egg Easy is not only easy, but the best item he’s ever used... It makes the best eggs, in a fraction compared to normal time... Thank for producing such a great product... I recommend it in an all time the best, for another reason and main reason is that it cooks exactly how you want it!!!!

This egg cooker is perfect for making hard-boiled eggs without the mess. The automatic timer beeps when your eggs are cooked which is a great feature. It's very compact and easy to use, great for poached eggs, omelets, etc., and without the worry of burnt eggs. Love it and easy to clean.

This does a great job in making hard boiled eggs. The eggs are cooked, but not over cooked. I’ve found that it’s much easier to peel the eggs when using this maker, as opposed to using a pot to boil the eggs. Overall very satisfied. I just wish all the components (excluding the maker of course) were dishwasher safe.

put in eggs, add water, push the button and when it goes off you have hard boiled eggs. (or medium, or soft) This thing really works and it doesn't take as much time as the traditional way. You should buy it!

This egg cooker does just what it says. No annoying alarm or buzzing when it's done, just turns off silently, so must watch your own clock if you wish to know when that will be. Hard boiling: I tried blanching the eggs in cold water right after cooker turned off and the result was just less-than-hard boiled. Then tried same prescribed timing except just letting the eggs cool on their own for approx. 30 mins. This time they came out perfectly hard boiled. All parts are easy to clean.
