Decent, fairly affordable guitar tab/midi editor

I purchased this specifically to view, listen to, and edit guitar tab files. Free versions of similar software are available but lack functionality. I've never owned or used previous versions of GP, so I have no basis of comparison for that. The interface is kind of clunky and non-intuitive, but I can get it to do most things I want. It would be better with a virtual fretboard; maybe if there's a GP7, it will have it.

I was frustrated when I bought this, expecting something a bit more interactive. While this is a bit of a retrospective comment, Rocksmith is by far a better and more versatile guitar teaching tool.
