Great early 80's coming of age teen movie
Great early 80's coming of age teen movie finally released on DVD for first time ever by great director Zapherelli A must see teen movie with early performances by Brooke Shields and James Spader. Drama driven script about teen romance taking a bad turn with violence and tragedy. The new remake is a different take on the basic story but lacks the innocence of the original. A must own!

Great movie defining the 80's
I loved this movie back in the 80's. I always wanted to own this on DVD, but it wasn't released until now. Great love story and pretty good acting by the lead actors. Martin Hewitt and Brooke Shields are great as romantic couple. Movie also has a very early appearance by James Spader and Tom Cruise. Worth watching and owning.
