Share with your family, friends or an entire class with this Epson Home Cinema 4000 projector. The 2,200-lumens projector throws clear images that can be seen from around the room, and 4K enhancement brings each graphic to life. This Epson Home Cinema 4000 projector has two HDMI ports for connecting a computer or other device.
Q: Does the dual HDMI input allow for both sources to play at once?
A: Yes, both hdmi inputs can be displayed picture - in - picture but only 1080p modes. 3D & 4k inputs can not be PnP.
A: Only had the projector for 2 weeks. Picture is incredible! This is my 3rd projector. Not sure on the bulb life as it is relatively new. I'm viewing on a 120" screen. Clarity is as good if not better than my 55" 4k tv. Projecting from approx 12 feet but don't need that distance to get the 120" viewing. Power zoom and focus are great and the auto lens cover when off is great to keep dust out.Set up was easy. Hope this helps. Thumbs up on this Epson 4000. Best projector I've seen without spending over $7k.
Q: Am I able to see a clear screen in a very brightly lit environment? For example a sunroom?
A: Hi. My Epson HC 4000 is instaled in a room with normal ambient light and the image is very good. I guess the screen will also make a differnce. Not sure what will happen in a sunroom since you probably have more light. In my case I am very happy with the proyector. I am using the normal settings so there you could also compensate for the extra lighting.
A: The projector comes with an electronic door that covers the lens when the unit is off. You will need a cable box or a dvr to watch cable. It's a very great unit
Q: How do you get audio from this?
A: This Epson projector does not have built-in speakers. You will need to connect your HDMI sources to an external home theater receiver, then connect the HDMI out of the receiver to the HDMI in of the Epson projector.
A: Don’t know which mount that one is, but it is not the $230 sanus (which I got and recommend for this projector it is a beast).. Don’t need to use the extender with any mount, they all can be flush or close to it. Extenders included for clearance if needed.
A: Don’t know about the comparison, but I bought the 4000 for grandkids & they love it. Use it indoors & outside with portable 100” screen. Picture & clarity are tops. Sports are amazing. Projector ‘box’ on 4000 is bigger but allows more air circulation, which I was told is very important.
A: It is 4K upscaling that what I know, it is not true 4K projector which are expensive. But I am satisfied with the picture quality and the color depth, contrast are excellent. I hope this may help you.
