Q: I want to know if the box of this product is covered with a plastic covering.
A: Mine also had no plastic. Was sealed with stickers on each end.
A: Update. I spoke to Chris at EVGA. He said that these are manufactured for BBY and that BBY may test them before shipping them, thus the box may not be shrink wrapped. I opened mine and had no doubt that the unit was new. Also he said based on my serial number, it was never registered. BTW, great card!
A: They are not the same. There are many differences between these two cards... EVGA does a whole different circuit board controller and multiple fans. The only similarity is the GPU at their core. EVGA cards are very good... but every once in a while, you'll get one with a defect. EVGA has been hit or miss on their returns lately. My last two cards had bad memory in them.... clearly a manufacturing / supply issue. The FE NVIDIA versions do run much hotter. That the nature of their design. The EVGA will run much cooler. Out of box performance will be much better with the EVGA.... but you can Overclock both of them... but you'll have more room to play in the OC area with the FE edition. Stay away from the EVGA superclocked versions. I don't recommend them. Heat is your enemy in electronics. Cool products last. Heat kills electronics.
Q: The code shadow of war is inside of the box?
A: Yes, there is a download code for the game.
Q: What have to do to get the game
A: Download it once you purchase the hardware the download is emailed to your email address on file.
A: The KB at the end of the model number designates that EVGA labels these boards for Best Buy exclusively. The EVGA cards models ends in KR, but they are essentially the same board. The difference between the two I think is memory clock speeds.
A: Televisions generally have lower refresh rates than Monitors. As well as a standard Aspect ratio 16:9. If you are serious about your gaming experience Then yes I would suggest investing in a 4k 120+hz monitor.
