Support your child's health with this Fitbit fitness tracker. The on-screen dashboard consolidates tracking information so you can monitor progress, and the sleep function lets you know if your child is getting enough rest. The kid-view on this Fitbit fitness tracker provides access to data such as stats, badges and clock face options.
All-day activity tracking
Tracks steps and active minutes to show how every move, skip, and jump adds up to a healthier, more active life.
Delivers crisp, clear visual readouts.
Offers water resistance up to 164', which means you're free to wear it in the pool, in the shower, at the beach, and beyond.
Works on all platforms
Automatically synchronizes to computers and more than 200 Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices to show your statistics, trends, and progress on your Fitbit dashboard.
Parents set up a family account on their device and create child accounts accordingly. In Parent view, they can easily see kids' activity and approve their connections. The family account and parental consent are required for children 12 and under.
Kids who own a smartphone will love getting call notifications on their wrists - and parents will love how much easier it is to get in touch. It works with select devices when the phone is nearby.
Kids can easily swap the clock face so their touch screen looks exactly the way they like.
The easy-to-use dashboard consolidates all the key activity tracking kids need to build healthy habits they'll use for a lifetime.
* Distance/speed/pace can only be shared on 3G or 4G devices.

I have my twin girls using these so I can check their activity and their quality of sleep. I was given one for my birthday myself and I like being able to see my heart rate. Unfortunately that is the only reason why I didn’t give this 5 stars because it doesn’t allow you to see their heart rate. Everything else is pretty basic but I like to set set timers on their watches if they have timeout, waiting for something, or other things. My girls are almost 4 and even though it’s for older ages I figured they’d grow into them and they are able to still wear them since they adjust to smaller wrists.
After only one month a wear, the rubber band had broken and the Fitbit popped out and is missing. I contacted customer service who stated that because it was still syncing to my phone that I should download a Bluetooth app and go around the house and yard looking for it. Needless to say that did not work! Not worth the money for one month is use.
I think it's great for kids if you're trying to get them more active. My kids really enjoy their new Fitbit Ace watch. Unfortunately, only a month in (Xmas gift) and the band has already ripped/broken off. :( Not sure what BBY warranty policy is but will try to get it exchanged. Wish me luck since it's past its return date.
This Fitbit seems to be of good quality. I have read many mixed reviews online. It did need to do a firmware update immediately before it could be used, which might account for some other reviewers saying theirs seemed to be defective upon first attempt to use. It's a cute watch, and my 8-year-old is happy with it. I am happy that it motivates her to be less of a couch potato. I've connected her to my Fitbit app on my phone so that I can see her stats. It would be nice if it could link to more than one device, but since it can't, we are just viewing data through my phone app.
Purchased this as a gift for my nephew and we both love it! He has no complaints regarding comfort or any type of allergic reactions from the band (as many stated in their reviews). On the contrary, he loves the ease of use and how it keeps him accountable when it comes to reaching steps. Easy for parents to track progress and to take part in challenges as a family. Would def recommend and will be purchasing another one soon for my little guy to be encouraged to step up his physical activity!
This is a great little device in that it's a watch that also gets kids excited about their physical activity during the day. Importantly, it's waterproof, so you don't have to worry about anyone remembering to take it off before showering or jumping in a pool. Would love to see something with a longer-lasting charge, but there's not much on the market doing that in a waterproof kid sized device, so this is as good as any. It is probably overly sensitive in what it counts as steps - my kid can pick up a few thousand steps on a bumpy bike ride, but I figure perfect accuracy isn't the goal on a device for kids. They have a lot of fun competing with us for daily steps.
