This Fractal Design Define R4 case features eight 3.5" hard drive trays and two 5.25" bays for flexible placement options. The side panel features an acrylic window with noise-reducing lining material.

- Front-panel ports: Include 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 ports and audio I/O to connect peripherals.
- ModuVent design: Features 2 top removable plates that allow you to choose silent operation or maximum airflow.
- 2 cooling fans: Include 1 front 140mm fan and 1 rear 140mm fan for efficient cooling. Four additional fan slots include 1 front 120/140mm, 2 top 120/140mm and 1 bottom 120/140mm for installing additional fans (not included).
- 3-speed fan controller: Integrated in the front panel supports up to 3 fans. Tool-free front fan holder makes switching front fans easy.
- Side-panel window: Features a flat, acrylic outer surface without a plastic bezel or rivets. High-density lining material offers noise reduction.
- Removable, rotatable upper hard drive cage: Supports graphics card lengths up to 295mm when the hard drive bay is in place and up to 430mm without the hard drive bay.
- Supports 170mm PSUs: When the bottom fan location is in use and up to 270mm PSUs when the bottom fan location is not in use. CPU coolers up to 170mm tall can be used when no fan is installed in the side panel.
- Wide case body: Allows 26mm of space behind the motherboard for cable routing. Thick rubber grommets on all holes on the motherboard plate provide durability.
