This tv series was made late 80's till early 90's which took place in canada. It aired week nights and got to say it was the best series ever made. Here is a somewhat plot to this awesome series...This spooky series gets its start when an antiques dealer makes a deal with the devil to sell cursed relics. When the dealer backs out of the pact and dies, his niece Micki (Louise Robey), her cousin Ryan (John D. LeMay), and ex-magician Jack Marshak (Chris Wiggins) join forces to track down the evil wares before they do harm. Usually they're too late and must pry the objects out of the hands of owners addicted to their homicidal dolls, wish-granting pens, and killer teacups. This collection presents the first season of the spine-tingling, surprisingly gruesome horror series.

Friday the 13th the series is the greatest made for TV horror series of all time period. The acting, the stories, production, music, and special effects are all first rate. Every episode is a gem. The episodes: The Inheritance, Helloween, Scarecrow, Faith Healer, The Pirates Promise, Double Exposure, and Badge of Honor are worth the Price of the DVD alone. My favorite episode is The Great Montarro. I have purchased several copies and given them to friends as gifts. They really enjoyed it. Some big name actors and directors lend their talents to this great show in the first season. The second and third seasons get even better, but the first season gets off to an awesome start. Treat yourself to season one. It's that good.

One of the best series to run...All the stories are well thought out and enjoyable to watch. The acting was great and the make up and special effects where ahead of there times for a TV series. Please keep in mind this has nothing to do with The Friday the 13th movies!!! These are 45 min episodes that deal with the unexpected and the recovering of cursed item that were sold and have fallen into the wrong hands. Over all I would rate "season 1" 9 out of 10. Season two is due out February 2009
