Nice dishwasher with some caveats
This dishwasher replaced an eight year old FGID2466QF7A that had a plastic tub but only recently started to have issues where replacing it was our best option. This dishwasher sold me on its features with the third rack, stainless tub, and quiet operation. I installed this dishwasher myself and the screw for adjusting the rear height worked great. Its nearly silent while running! However, the racks all feel extremely poor quality. They dont slide nice and are very shaky. I guess i just expected more out of a $900 dishwasher. My old one wasnt even this bad. The handle also does not match my other Gallery kitchen appliances but thats a small issue. However, as its main goal - washing dishes, it does very well with the two loads ive thrown at it thus far. Will definitely buy an extended warranty.

Great Dishwasher With One Minor Flaw
I’ve been really impressed with this dishwasher so far. It cleans incredibly well—even tough, dried-on dishes come out spotless without needing to pre-rinse. It’s also much quieter than I expected; you can barely hear it running, which is a huge plus in an open-concept kitchen. The layout is thoughtful, the third rack is super handy for utensils and small items, and everything dries completely thanks to the strong drying cycle. My only complaint is that the cycle times tend to run longer than the estimated display. It’s not a deal-breaker, but if you’re counting on the shorter cycles finishing right on time, it can be a little annoying. Overall, it’s a high-quality machine that performs extremely well. If longer runtimes don’t bother you, I’d definitely recommend it!
