A: The fenix 3 HR will offer built in optical heart rate as well as the sapphire lens. There is no need to choose between the two if you are wanting to purchase the fenix 3 HR over the fenix 3. |BB|

Q: Does this watch include HR monitoring?
A: No, it can read heart rate data, but needs a separate Garmin Heart Rate Monitor. This model does not have the built in optical HRM. ~JH

A: It stays very clean. The silicone/rubber is easy to clean.
