Q: Does this has a built in alarm clock?
A: Yes it also vibrates when the alarm goes off.
A: The fenix 5 does not need to be paired to a phone. However, pairing the device to a phone will provide some extra features such as smart notifications that allow you to view incoming phone calls, text messages and emails. You can also upload activities directly through our Garmin Connect Mobile app on the phone and view stats.
Q: Will this watch give you an MGRS grid?
A: Yes on all three Fenix 5 Watches
Q: What's the battery life like, how often will it need charged?
A: Every two weeks and that is with doing a short run or swim each day during the week and a long bike ride on the weekend. Good battery life.
A: I would actually say that it would depend more on your comfort level with the size. It is a significantly larger watch with the fenix 5 than the 5s especially on thickness. That said, it didn't take me too long to get used to it and it fits comfortably with the fenix 5.
A: I asked on Facebook the same question and received a very generic response. They are now listed as "coming soon." I wonder what the hold up is? I am waiting for the 5s in black.

A: No, this watch does not have music player.
Q: Do you receive alerts from your phone in this model?
A: In my case I only get emails and maybe since I didnt have it for a long time I probably missed how to set it to get all notifications.
