A: Hi Monica - Thanks for choosing GE! Model JNM7196SKSSis factory-assembled for recirculating but can be converted to vent outside. Also, Model JVM7195SKSS is the same microwave except factory-assembled for outside exhaust. The GE over-the-range models are all designed for adaptation for the following three types of ventilation: 1. Outside Exhaust (Vertical – Delivered from factory in vertical position. All of our over-the-range microwaves do not require external venting and can be vented internally. One model we think you should check out is JVM7195SKSS. A: Hi Bristol! Thanks for reaching out! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. - With that being said, the new model that you've got your eye on here will make for a wonderful replacement! This makes choosing a replacement a breeze. Please note however, that you will need to use the mounting kit that comes with the model. This is because the kit is made specifically for that model. Q: Will this model direct replacement of GE JVM7195DF1WW With Recirculating exhaust?
A: Yes! more to the point though is that it an updated model that appears to have a slightly smaller power rating. maybe 100 watts or so. Everything else is excellent. The fan speed now has 4 levels of power versus 3 previously. The locations of the push button contacts to begin microwaving are somewhat modified but that does not in anyway affect the functionality. The size was extremely important to us and it was an identical match. Bottom line the price was lower than what we had paid 8 years ago and it’s a perfect match. I don’t think that you will go wrong purchasing this item - and the Best Buy sales personnel were very helpful as were the delivery gentlemen. Good luck on your purchase.
