    We were looking around the store for refrigerators. My wife was comparing the features on every French door model. She was looking at the appearance, shelves, ice bin, door dispensers, drawers, bins….When I saw this Café with the Keurig on the door, I told her to stop looking (which she didn’t) because I knew what she was going to want to buy. When she did make it over, she lit up and asked "How can this be?" "This is brilliant!" She then opened the doors and quickly realized that the shelves, bins and ice bin were just like all of the others, or maybe a little nicer. She spent about a week online reading reviews and found mostly great comments about this refrigerator. The three recurring, negative comments were: compressor is a little louder than most refrigerators, the water dispenser and Keurig, drip a little, after dispensing and the Keurig backs water up in the door and leaks. Well, the Keurig backing water into the door seemed to be fixed with an update to the Keurig apparatus and I assumed mine would have the updated version (which seems to be the case and I have not had a problem with it). The water and Keurig do drip a drop after dispensing. No big deal though, the drop of water sits on the tray and evaporates shortly. The drop of coffee evaporates and at some point as I am passing by with a damp paper towel, I wipe up the residue. BTW, the tray rocks....you can pull it out to double it's size and a pot will sit there. The noisy compressor....It is slightly more noisy than my previous refrigerator. If I had to guess, standing in front of it, my old refrigerator ran at 5 decibels and this one runs at 5.2. Barely noticeable and I would much rather have a heavy-duty compressor rather than a weaker one that was slightly-less noisy. The water dispenser will show what volume of water you are dispensing. It is accurate up to 2 cups, but after that, it gets wildly inaccurate (always over fills). I used a measuring cup to verify these findings. The second thing....you can set the amount to fill but you have to hold the pot against the lever for the water to flow. I would like to set the water, push the pot against the lever and let go. No big deal, but I recommend this update to the software. Seeing how the refrigerator has wifi, I would also like it to connect to internet radio and have a descent speaker. Now, this is a luxury request, but, come on man, it has a Keurig!!! So, to sum: My only issue, to date, is that the water and Keurig drip a drop after dispensing. This issue is so minor and I bet most refrigerators do this, that the other features of the refrigerator far outweigh them. If I had another house, I would buy another of these refrigerators in a minute.

    We went to our local Best Buy after both researching reviews and shopping around to other major appliance stores locally and online. We got to see how the GE - Cafe Series 27.8 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Keurig Brewer/Coffee or Hot Water - Stainless steel (Silver) would fit in our kitchen in the space we will have, looking at it for functionality, features, build quality and how it compared to other refrigerators in it's class. The other deciding factor to go with this unit was the friendly and extremely knowledgable sales person helping us select a product. He took the time to explain features and conveniences that we weren't aware of which really helped us decide to make the purchase. Some of these features were the water filter location, ice tray features, adjustable shelves, efficiency, ability to dispense hot water with selectable temperatures, and best of all how it makes a great cup of coffee using your favorite K-Cups. Our other appliances are GE and wanted try and stay with the same brand. The home builder offered other great options, but it wasn't what we were looking for so we took the credit for the fridge and decided to shop around. We are waiting for our home to finish construction and think it will work great and can't wait to use it. Would definitely recommend Best Buy over others because of the customer experience we received.

    Better Fridge but delivery not happy

    This was a replacement for our Samsung not so smart fridge. The stainless steel doesn't smudge that much compare to my old one. Inside is bigger and the added Keurig was nice but it does take a while to heat up. I also agree with some of the owners that the coffee splashes and I know this is normal thanks to gravity. The one thing that I didn't like with this experience was that the delivery guys delivered the fridge and connected the water line. They left without taking out the packaging inside as well as the plastic on the fridge. I called customer service and she put me on hold and hangup. The last fridge I had they took out everything and ready to use. I'm happy with the fridge also with the added WIFI capability but not the service I received from Best buy.

    We had ordered a Samsung refrigerator from Lowe's three times and each time they delivered them they were damaged. So finally we cancelled the order and went to Best Buy. Got our new GE Cafe, it looked perfect on delivery but was not cooling. We called GE and they came right out and fixed it. It is working great now and we absolutely love it. It is solid in construction and well lit inside. I think it is much better than the Samsung's we originally planed to buy and the stainless steel feels more durable and will hopefully resist denting better.

    Keep in mind that I've only had it for a month...but if first impressions are worth anything, I like it. It's a refrigerator, so what really can you say about it. It's laid out well, but what I really like about it, is the built-in (sort of) coffee maker. I use it every day. It does take a bit longer to brew though, only because of the time it takes to heat the water. It will also dispense hot water for other things as well. It has a precise fill feature that accurately measures water volume. Works great.

    The hot water takes a while to heat up and even longer if you open the fridge door. The cooling cycle on the fridge is noisy and something to get use too. The keurig also splashes with a wide mug and requires cleaning the area around it after each use.

    Great refrigerator. All as advertised, except that we wanted a Black one. When we got it installed, Matt Black is dark grey. Next to our black appliances it is obvious.
