Q: Can the microwave and oven be used without convection or is it in use all the time when using them?
A: There is setting for both. If you want to use just the microwave then it microwaves only. Same for the convection. It does not microwave and convect at the same time. Hope that clarifies it for you. The lower oven does the bake, convection bake, broil, clean, etc. and once again you have to select which setting. Just like any other oven. I love it.
Q: When the unit states that the cycle is complete does the oven turn off?
A: The upper oven when used as a microwave does not turn off. Hopefully, you hear the tiny ding when the microwave cycle is over because the oven just keeps running saying it is "cooling". Please find another oven.
Q: Are both the microwave and wall oven convection?
A: Hi Grover- Thanks for viewing our GE Profile Series! Yes, GE Profile™ Series 27" Built-In Combination Convection Microwave/Convection Wall Oven PK7800SKSS features convection cooking mode in both the upper and lower oven. You may want to pair with GE Profile™ Series 30" Built-In Knob Control Electric Cooktop PP7030SJSS or GE Profile™ Series 30" Built-In Gas Cooktop PGP7030SLSS. Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
A: Oversizing a circuit breaker can be a safety concern. If there is a direct short in an appliance a breaker will kick off even if oversized, but if there is simply a crossed or burned wire it may not turn off. The breaker size recommendations we provide are based on National Electrical Codes. You may wish to check to see what your local codes recommend as they always prevail. -Vikki@GEAppliances

A: Thank you for asking this great question! The original recommended cutout dimensions for your current wall oven should be 24-3/4”W x 41-1/4”H x 24” D, with at least 21-5/8” from the floor. Please note that this is slightly different from what is required for models such as JK3800SHSS. We recommend measuring your current cutout to see what modifications may be required to fit the new unit. We hope this information helps, and if you need any additional assistance, please reach out to us! All the best – Matthew@GEA
Q: Can the microwave turn table be turned off? Thank you for your anticipated response.
A: Hi Rocky - Thanks for your interest! The turntable must always be in place when using the oven and cannot be turned off. Keep in touch! Sue
