A: The fan does not turn on automatically when the burners are in use. You must use the fan switch to activate the fan.
A: Where your exhaust vent exist the building there should be a vent cap with a spring loaded dampener . It opens when positive pressure from the blower is on and automatically closes when you turn off the fan. Can be bought at any Lowes or Depot

A: Hello Cynthia - GE Appliances recommends a qualified installer or servicer convert the gas range, oven, or cooktop to the proper gas supply needed. The conversion must be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and all codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. The conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) or included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Q: Does this model come with the downdraft blower?
