Q: Will BB disconnect old dishwasher with the haul away option?
A: Jen, Yes they will just let them know that you want your old dishwasher hauled away.
A: No, this doesn't have an automatic door opening feature. However, if you open the door when the dishwasher is complete, the dishes and glasses will air dry naturally and save energy. While keeping in mind that adding the Dry Boost will only add 64 minutes to the cycle and cost pennies in energy to run. We also recommend turning your hot water on first to allow the first fill to be hot and use a rinse agent for the best results. Thank you! Joyce@GEAppliances
A: Odors associated with new appliances are normal. The processes used during manufacturing often leave a "newness" odor that may not dissipate until after several wash cycles. This odor will dissipate with use. We encourage you to check the temperature of the water coming into your dishwasher. For optimum wash and dry performance, the water coming in must be a minimum of 120°F. Use a candy or meat thermometer and measure the hot water at the sink closest to the dishwasher. Adjust your water heater as needed. We also recommend choosing the Wash Temp Boost option. Adjusting the incoming water temperature and using the Wash Temp Boost option will help the wash performance and aid the dry performance by evaporating any excess moisture on the inside. -Vikki@GEAppliances
Q: What is the minimum and maximum height for this dishwasher?
A: The minimum height with the leveling legs fully retracted is 33-3/8” and the maximum height with leveling legs fully extended is 34-5/8”. Q: Does this dishwasher have a built in child lock?
A: This model does not offer a child lock feature. However, you can lock the controls to prevent selections from being made. You can also lock the controls after you have started a cycle to prevent cycle changes. For more details, please review the "Lock Controls" section on pg. 8 of the Owner's Manual.
Q: Does the silverware bin block the doap dispenser?
A: No, it doesn't. The silverware basket sits on the right edge of the lower rack not on the door.
Q: How often does the ultra fresh system blow in free air? Can it be deactivated?

Great Dishwasher loaded with features.
I am happy with my purchase. It cleans better than my older GE dishwasher that was installed when I built my home in 2018. It went out and I upgraded to this one with more features. It is very quiet and the app works very well. However, I was very disappointed that I had to spend an additional $200 when they came to install it. I later found out that I did not need the valve they were recommending. Best Buy needs to look into their contractors.

Profile dishwasher
This dishwasher is extremely quiet and the 3 shelf helps with cleaning all types of dishes

Impressive Performance & Whisper-Quiet
I’m genuinely impressed by this GE dishwasher—it cleans far beyond my expectations. Even dishes with dried-on food come out spotless without pre-rinsing. The performance is consistently reliable, and everything from glassware to cookware shines after each cycle. However, only a month, reliability remains yet to determine.
