  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: true (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)
    • Operating Sound Level: 54 decibels adjusted (Today's appliances are pretty quiet. To get a sense for how quiet you'll need, think about having a conversation in the same room. Choose from Not as Quiet (56 dBA or higher. You'll likely need to raise your voice); Quiet (50-55 dBA. Need to raise your voice slightly); Very Quiet (43-49 dBA. • Child Lock: true (Setting that allows appliance to be temporarily locked to prevent use.)

Q: How do you fix a problem where the lights turn on and the light flash and blink and beeps at you and won’t start the wash cycle

A: Hi there, and thanks for reaching out about your dishwasher. We hate to hear you've had an issue with lights flashing and the unit beeping while not actually starting the wash cycle. We know an issue like that would be concerning and would like to assist. If lights are flashing and the dishwasher is beeping, the door may have been left open or the cycle interrupted. If you press the Start pad and close the door within 4 seconds, this may get everything started properly. As the wash cycle is not starting normally, you may want to check the fuse or circuit breaker to ensure power is reaching the unit. Flashing lights can also indicate a problem has been caused by power surges; pressing the Start pad to reset the dishwasher and waiting 2 minutes can sometimes resolve the issue. If the problem isn’t fixed, try disconnecting the unit completely from power for 30 seconds, then restore power. This resets the electrical components and may fix the concern. Further troubleshooting steps are listed in the manual, starting on page 19. If the above troubleshooting does not help to resolve the issue, you may want to contact our service department at 1-800-432-2737. We hope you are able to get this resolved quickly, and are happy to help with any other concerns or questions. Wishing you all the best! -Sarah@GEA
