Seems to run well, not difficult to install, directions could use a little clarification. At times seemed they might be directions for a different model. We were able to install successfully and ran the machine empty the first time.
Unfortunately, while the dishwasher is running, there is excessive condensation that collects on the left side of the handle in front of the vent. Major design flaw if you ask me. Not only ugly to have water on the handle but it drips on our wood floor.
Second flaw, the clips on the silverware caddy impede the lower rack and make it impossible to push it into the machine without aggressively rubbing on the rubber gasket that seals the door when closed. I can only imagine this will cause damage if left unchecked. Literally have to pick up the lower rack and shift it to the left, off of it’s track, in order to roll it into the machine. Unacceptable for a brand new dishwasher. Have left messages for GE regarding both issues and have yet to hear back. Will update review once response is received from GE.
Not the most expensive dishwasher out there but certainly not the cheapest and I expected more from GE. Good points: runs quietly and does a nice job of cleaning dishes.
What can I say, it's a dishwasher. It works well. The flatware holder is kinda oddly layed out, I wish I would have went for the dishwasher with the top rack. During install there was no mention of needing to purge the supply line of air, that was a real learning experience when it started burping air on the side where th inlet hose just drains into a little external cup and then into the dishwasher. Left my floor soaked. Once I got that issue figured out it has been working fine ever since.
This version has plastic interior (while there is a slightly more expensive version that has metal interior). To save a few $$ I got this version.
Its well built, quiet, easy to use, and cleans very well. I like that the buttons are on the inside.
My only issue was the 3rd party installers. They did not bult the top to the counter, therefor when I opened the door, the entire dishwasher nearly fell on itself. Luckily I was able to locate the original brackets in the manual bag and did it myself with ease; but it should have been completed in the first place by the installers.
As for the item itself, I highly recommend it.
Excellent price on a feature rich and reasonable dishwasher. We purchased it with delivery and installation for under $500. It does a great job cleaning, doesn't stink. and we really enjoy the steam sanitation.
A:AnswerHi KD - Thanks for your interest in purchasing a new GE Appliance! This model will work great as a replacement for your old GSD3360D35SS.While the dimensions are just slightly different, your cutout space will be sufficient. - Trey@GEA
A:AnswerHi JCPP - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding the leak from the door vent. We can certainly understand your concern and glad to help. On models with external vents, it is normal for warm, moist air to come through the vent during drying and when water is being pumped out. This is necessary for drying. If the vent cap on the inside of the door at the top corner is loose, water can leak from the door. Hand tighten the vent cap to prevent leaking. We hope this is helpful. If you need further assistance, please keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue

A:AnswerHi Bet - WiFi Connect requires Optional Connect Plus Module PBX10W00Y0 (sold separately). The ConnectPlus connects select GE Appliances to the internet enabling remote, monitoring, control and notifications. The communications module plugs into the “RJ45” phone jack style connector located on some appliance products. Utilizing the ConnectPlus requires that you register your appliance with GE, establish a GE Connected Account and that you have WiFi and a Smart Phone in your home.
