• A:Answer Hi Kit, Yes you will have no problem using your monitor and laptop at their respective resolution. You can retain your 1080p 144hz on your laptop and still use the 144hz WQHD resolution on the monitor. Hope this helps! - John

• A:Answer Yes, but the the mounting point is recessed 1/4inch. I had to buy a few different wall mounts till I found one that worked.
