A: Yes you can cook a chicken. Not big enough for a turkey.
Q: How long does a batch of fries take and how many can it do at once
A: If they're store bought bagged fries maybe 5-7 ish minutes at 400....maybe half of the basket depth and pull out half ish way and stir it up...change positioning of fries. If making from fresh potatoes, not sure. There is a recipe book, instructions and suggestions for times enclosed with the unit. If you find out on the fresh fries....let everyone know....
