Ridiculously over-engineered? Or the perfect case for your iPod touch no matter where you're headed?.
We think it's a little bit of both.
Simply put, the Griffin Survivor Case is the most protective case we've ever built.
Tested and certified to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F and UK Department of Defense Standard 00-35, Griffin's Survivor Extreme-Duty Case is designed from the inside out to protect your iPod touch from extreme conditions ... dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration and a host of other environmental factors.
Survivor is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame clad in rugged, shock-absorbing silicone. A built-in screen protector seals your Multi-Touch display from the outside environment, and hinged plugs seal the dock connector, camera lens, headphone port, hold switch and volume controls. A detachable heavy-duty clip secures your iPod touch to a belt or bag strap.
Survivor is independently tested and verified to meet or exceed environmental testing standards for blown rain, blown dust and grit, vibration, shock, temperature and humidity.
Compatible with iPod touch 5th and 6th generation.
Q: Does the Griffin Survivor Case for 5th Generation fit the 6th Gen ipod Touch
A: Yes. Perfectly.
A: Survivor for iPod touch is designed to be resistant against windblown rain, which means that if you have to use the phone and it's raining outside, it'll keep water from getting into your case and effecting your phone. It's not waterproof, though, which means we don't recommend submerging the iPod in water with the case on your phone. If you have any other questions about the case, just give us a call at (800) 208-5996 between 9am and 6pm Monday through Thursday or between 9am and 5pm on Friday (CST) and we'll see what we can do for you.
Q: does this product come with a belt clip.
A: Ours came with a belt clip.
Q: how can I get a replacement front clear cover for my case
A: You would need to contact the manufacturer to see if they can replace that single part for you.
A: I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble installing that case! That front plate should really just snap right on there. Take a look at this video and see if these steps are helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9IfhA2kF1o (This video is for the iPhone 5 case, but the steps are the same.) If you're still having trouble after that, please reach out to our support team for assistance. You can reach them here: http://grff.in/support Hope that helps! ^MS
Q: Could Griffin Survivor make a case for the Fire hd 6?
A: There are no plans for a Survivor for Fire HD 6 at this time. Sorry! ^MS
Q: What about a space for the camera? Do I have to take off the case to use it?
A: The Survivor All-Terrain case for the iPod touch 5th gen. has a silicone port over the camera that swivels out of the way when you are taking photos. This allows you to take photos with the case on the iPod. Thanks! ^ Jen.
Q: Is this case usable with the iPod 6 and can it be used with a zagg screen protector?
A: Yes it can. It works with ipod6 and the zagg screen protector would be a good add on
