Q: Do I need to buy anything else with this product to have it work?
A: yeah a subscription, i got this set up and only then found out you need to pay monthly to get the audio and video.
A: It has a slot where you can input an SD card to record video, not included though.
A: Yes- we have the app on (3) phones and all monitor. Note: the unit must be plugged in. I assumed when purchased that it would run off batterieies which it does not. The unit will need to rest need an outlet.
A: When you close the app, it won't stream and use your band width. I have the same issue. You will have a delay when you go back into the app as it re-establishes a connection.

A: there is no cost to use unless you enlist the company to record times you are away.
