Great small crockpot

Nice design and easy to store. Only downside is that it does have a fairly short cord so needs to be pretty close to electric outlet.

This one is perfect! It does not have an automatic shut off, which I knew from my research on it and previous reviews, but that is not a deal breaker for me. Although I am use to the automatic shut off with my other one, I am still pleasantly pleased with this item!

Q: QuestionWhy does the lid have a hole with the plastic insert? The other slow cookers I have purchased have a solid lid to keep in the heat.

- A:Answer The hole in your slow cooker lid is for ventilation which prevents the cover from forming a vacuum and sealing itself to the stoneware vessel as it cools. Your slow cooker was calibrated with this cover so cooking times will not be affected. This hole is also to prevent the lid for forming a vacuum seal for models that have lid latches as well as a hole to insert a probe for models that include a probe..
