Q: Why does the base leak even though there is a gasket?
A: We have used daily for months... We love this little blender! it doesn't leak at all! If you rinse it, a little water will collect around the base and when you turn it right side up, it will drip water, (only appears to leak). If you have one that is leaking, check to make sure the bottom is on tight and the gasket is not out of alignment.
