Terrible printer, worse company.

It would print with a wavy line down the middle of the pages no matter what tray I used. The printer never printed well enough quality to warrant the price. When I tried contacting HP during COVID after the purchase NO ONE was available. Now that the warranty has expired, I cannot return or even exchange this item for something that works. If you buy one, check that it isn’t defective and pray that you can return it.

Open the box, remove printer, connect to power, power on -- DONE! maybe i needed the wiFi password, but that was essentially it. the print speed rivals our multi-thousand dollar office printer. the quality is as expected from an HP Laser printer. very happy with this purchase and the low price from BestBuy made it even gooder ;-)

- A:Answer I looked in the user manual to see if there was a "quiet" mode, but it doesn't appear so. And looking at the specs, the sound from the M255dw is typical for laser printers. If you replaced a printer that was much quieter, there might be a problem with the printer. Your best option would be to contact the HP support team for troubleshooting.

- A:Answer No. This is only a printer. It can only print. It does not have the capability to copy or scan. We recommend looking at the HP Laserjet Pro M283fdw or Laserjet Pro M479fdw printers, which can print, copy, scan, and fax.
