A: I can only answer from my experience, and I found the setup process for this computer frustrating. I was mostly appalled because, even though I was setting this up for a friend, I was forced to create a Microsoft user, something I had avoided up to this point. In any case, I believe you have to decide whether or not you will be using the laptop in "safe" mode or not. Microsoft is attempting to emulate android and Apple by providing an application repository like Google Play or the Apple Store on their Windows platform. You are permitted to get apps exclusively from the Microsoft Store by default. If you want to install software from sources outside Microsoft's closed garden, you need to request that "safe" mode be turned off. You will find the instructions to do this online or in the local help files. Then you can install software normally from any source. I am relaying this from my experience, however, as I deleted my newly created Microsoft user right after breaking out of "safe" mode in order to install Skype and Libre Office. I did a quick search and found that you can whitelist an application in order to install it from outside the Microsoft Store. You need to do this because Zoom is not currently available in the Microsoft Store. Same solution should apply to Chrome if it is not also in the store. A: Yes
A: I wouldn't recommend this for college. I bought it for my wife who was starting college online and we had to return it wouldn't handle video conferencing. Frequently dropped the videos.

Q: Is there any way to get the Laptop out of Safe mode and change it to normal Windows 10?
A: Yes you can take it out of safe mode . I took mine out of safe mode and it said I can never go back to safe mode . I had to download an “app” for work and it said for me to download that I have to take it out of safe Mode and it directed me right there. I’m sure If you just type in the search bar safe mode a few diff options will pop up ! Hope this helps!
