Q: Will this hyperdrive hub work with the iPad 11" 2020 newest model
A: It didnt work for me. I bought an ipad pro (newest Model) in April 2020 and bought this with it... but was never able to get it to work for me regardless of direction installed nor with what ever memory card or usb flash drive i would use.
Q: is it possible this will work with the ipad pro 9.7”?
A: No, this is a usb-c hub. For an iPad Pro 9.7, get a lightning port hub.
A: There are 2 grips for iPad Pro 11. One is for screen protector, one is for without screen protector. If case is in the way, only option is a grip with cable , which is included. So three grips are included, which cover all situations. Works pretty good so far. Hope this helps.
A: This is probably the worst answer ever given on Best Buy, but here it goes... I've been using this to connect USB to music creation apps while charging and listening through headphones. All of that works well now that I have some bugs ironed out. But I hadn't actually used it to view files on a hard-drive or memory stick. So, after getting the question from you, I decided to try. I have an external HDD (not an SSD, which would be better) to try. I loaded a movie as well as several MP3 files, JPEGs, etc. on it and connected it up. I also plugged in the charge cord (USB-C) since the HDD runs off USB power. I was able to play everything except the movie. I am sure it's my fault because I don't think I properly saved all necessary files and I'm not sure they are files that the iPad recognizes anyway. I'll have to figure that little bit out. The short answer is, "I don't know for sure". But I'm pretty certain, in light of the fact that I can see any other file on the HDD, it will play movies just fine. I'm pretty confident this will do it for you.

A: No this will not work with the 2nd generation iPad because that iPad does not have a USB-C port.

A: I am using it with a 12.9" iPad Pro 3rd Generation, so it should definitely work.

A: Yes, but you should remove it before closing. That is just my advice. But that depends on how you transport your device.
