Q: Will this tv work with just an antenna?
A: Yes, here in Queens NY I get more than 80 over the air channels.
A: Well mine quit being responsive and very delayed 3 days after the return period was over lol so maybe that’s why.
Q: What is the quality of viewing angles?
A: My viewing angle is pretty much straight on...... The unit is in my bedroom, directly opposite my bed. So, not like I move around a lot in there. But, when walking around in my bedroom, I can see the TV well from all angles. So, while limited in my use area, it DOES perform well!!
Q: Why is the screen turning green
A: undefined
Q: Is it Bluetooth connectable
A: No
A: Under settings go to Display and Sounds, then Screen saver. Set the Start Time to go off NEVER.

The Insignia 40-inch TV is a solid budget option for everyday use. The picture quality is clear and bright for watching movies, shows, or streaming. It’s lightweight, easy to set up, and works well in smaller rooms. The sound is average, and it’s not ideal for serious gaming or high-end visuals, but for the price, it offers great value and reliability.

I snagged the Insignia 40” Class F40 Series LED FHD Smart Fire TV for our guest room, and it’s been a total win for the price—under $150 on sale! Setup was a breeze, taking just minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and link my streaming apps via the intuitive Fire TV interface The 1080p resolution delivers crisp, vibrant colors that pop for movies and shows, making Netflix binges on The Office reruns feel fresh and immersive. Alexa voice control is seamless for quick searches or smart home tweaks, and with access to over 1.5 million titles from Prime Video, Hulu, and more, entertainment options are endless. It’s lightweight and the perfect size for smaller spaces, with versatile ports like HDMI for my gaming console and USB for media playback. Sound is decent for casual viewing, though I paired it with a soundbar for fuller audio. Sure, it’s not a premium powerhouse with 4K or top-tier contrast, but for everyday use, this affordable gem exceeds expectations without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for budget-conscious folks wanting smart features and solid performance—five stars!

It was an easy box-to-table set-up. Installation was easy. Sign-in was easy. Updates were easy. Installation of all my favorite apps was easy. It was all very simple and quite quick. The picture is amazing. The sound is okay (not great, but not the worst). For the price, this TV is outstanding, until it isn't. I read complaints and compliments about the TV before I purchased it. The most common complaint was the TV restarting on it's own. When I saw "common" what I mean is, there were several but they were floating in a sea of 5 star reviews. So, a few amongst many. None on Best Buy. I decided to make the purchase, and I'm sorry that I did. The first night, it froze. The screen pixeled, the sound repeated, then the TV restarted itself. No more problems after, until the next night. Same thing. Two nights later, same thing. It worked without problem for a couple of days, and now it's reset itself twice in this evening. I've done all the things recommend. It is up-to-date. The voltage in the outlet is correct. The only thing I haven't done is reset it to factory default (because I literally set it up less than 15 days ago). I purchased it but didn't set it up right away. I was in the process of redoing my bedroom, so it was the last thing to do. I have 2 days to return it before my return window ends. It's a shame. It's a great TV, especially for the price, but only when it isn't freezing and resting itself.
