Q: How do you determine what temperature you are setting between the temperatures marked on the dial?
A: Each line up to 180 degrees is in increments of 22.5 degrees each. There are 8 lines leading up to 180 degrees. (180 divided by 8 equals 22.5). The half way marks between 180 to 280 degrees are in 25 degree increments. After 280 degrees they are 20 degree increments up to 400 degrees max temperature. Hope this helps.
