Q: Can this hold Canon cameras? The straps seem too thick to hook up into the small slots on sides of camera

A: somewhat difficult to fit into the slots on Nikon cool pix...but salesperson in best buy helped...................it works.............and it is perfect!!!

Nice, comfortable camera strap
I bought this strap for my Canon 7d that normally has a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens attached. This is a fairly heavy combo, but the strap made all-day carrying a breeze. Seems to be well made, and I find it very comfortable even when the 100-400 L lens (very heavy) is attached. For the price, I really don't think you can go wrong with this strap.

Excellent strap
Fashionable black and white with a very soft/comfortable backing. The attaching straps are not metal and will not scratch your camera body or screen. Adjustable length conforms to your requirements.
