Q: Does this device allow one to use the phone completely hands free while driving?
A: It adds no additional features other than playing the audio through your car speakers. In my experience, a phone call through the car audio system will have echos and be very poor quality. Your phone likely has hands-free built in by using your voice commands. Buy an bluetooth or wired ear piece if you want to make calls. This is strictly for playing music on an older car without an aux input jack.
