I received these today and I must say, I am blown away by the sound, amongst other things. When I opened the box, I was shocked at the amount of care went into the planning and presentation of these headphones. The box was a nice box, solid, but inside is a beautiful semi hard case that protects these when not in use. In that case is a 3.5mm patch plug to plug these into non-bluetooth devices, and also a bright orange charging cable....orange is synonymous with JBL, cool touch. The headphones feel VERY solid.....no cheesy feel at all. Solid! And they fold at the ear pieces, and also twist from side to side. I got a serious feeling of solid with these, I cannot mention this enough. They aren't heavy per se, they feel like something that will last and provide decent sound. Okay, I charged them for a short time and fired them up. The ear foam inside has a big R or L for right or left, a nice touch for people who don't like looking for the little R or L. Also, they have a solid vinyl/leather/etc. that rests against your ears, not foam. That is important to limit outside noises. And it works well in this case, my ears didn't feel hot which is a worry with this type of arrangement. JBL/Harman got this right and that is important as you wear them for hours on end. Okay, the sound is truly amazing - not just amazing, crazy amazing. I have played all kinds of music on these, from Phantom of the Opera, to classical, to old swing, to classic rock. No disappointments from any genre's sound on these. The highs, and lows, are captured very well. And the best part is I feel depth in the music. This is not something to be taken lightly.....the depth provides a sound I've never heard in any headphones before. Wow, I cannot get enough of the sound from these. And I'm a nut about how audio sounds on speakers, headphones, etc. So, I don't know if there are any better headphones out there, but after trying these, I would not ever need to try to find out because they sound so good. I'm finding myself to be a real headphone person, vs. earbuds or pods. To be sure I mention any negatives, I'd mention there is no charger with these.....this is typical these days so I'm not disappointed, but wanted to be sure this is mentioned. Also, one small problem I found was on one of the earpieces, there is a pivot and a snap...but one of them would not snap properly. Upon close examination, I saw there were 4 screws, 2 on each ear piece, and one of those screws wasn't tightened down. I tightened it down and it was perfect, both sides working fine. Just saying this so you don't force it if you find it is this way for anyone. They are small Phillips head screws, very small. Would I recommend these to my best friend? Yes, and without any reservations. These are by far the nicest headphones I've ever tried and have to say I will be enjoying these for some time to come!

I connected JBL Everest 310 headphone wirelessly to my iPad Air & my android phone and they worked flawlessly. Setup is quick and easy with Bluetooth. It also comes with an 3.5mm headset cable with an inline mic for wired use. I was streaming audio from Spotify, Plex, and even watched several movies wearing these. Unlike other products this headphones have very balanced sound. While the traditional bass is there, it is very obvious they are providing a much cleaner sound now. I was skeptical to buy these after buying and returning a pair of the high end headphones from other companies. This is best wireless headphone made by JBL and well worth every dime of the purchase. I have owned wired and wireless headphones previously from multiple companies. Those were replaced by JBL Everest 310 headphones as my go-to device for listening music. The hard carrying case is great for maximum protection. Battery life is so good and i was able to listen more than 20 hours with single charge. The headphones physical controls include the power slider, volume buttons, play/pause button (which can be used to answer incoming calls), a Bluetooth pair button, and a ShareMe button. I really liked the ShareMe feature allows you to pair an additional bluetooth headset (regardless of brand) to the headphones and listen on both devices. It works very well. Overall, these headphones are definitely versatile, offering Bluetooth and wired options. They are easy to use thanks to the quick power-on, power-off, pairing, and the various physical controls. I have listed some of the notable features of JBL Everest 31 Headphones. 20 Hour Battery, quickly recharge in 2 hours using Micro USB Built in microphone with echo cancellation technology for crystal clear, hands-free calls. Comfort fit - ergonomically designed to fit the unique contour of listener's ears. Fold and Carry - A sleek flat-fold design with premium hard carrying case to allow maximum portability and protection Overall, I am very happy with these headphones and recommend to anyone.

There are 3 main things I look for in a good pair of bluetooth headphones. 1. Do they sound good and does the bluetooth function well with little to no drops in signal? 2. Does the battery life hold up over a long period of time? 3. Are they comfortable and do they fit well? The JBL Everest hits a homerun on the 1st 2 questions but ultimately the comfort and fit level keeps it from being a 5 star pair of headphones. 1. Sound quality: I think the JBL's are a great sounding pair of headphones. The bass is solid and robust, the highs are clear and not washed out and music sounds really crisp and clear. I was really surprised by how well these headphones actually perform. I haven't had a pair of JBL anything in a long time, so it's good to see them putting out a quality product. I think these headphones easily stand up to beats headphones in the same price range. The bluetooth is very consistent as well. I had a range of about 20-30 ft away from my iphone and it still worked just fine. 2. The battery life on the JBl everest's are very solid. It says 20 hours advertised on the box, and I got roughly that after my first charge. I wore them all day for two days straight and by the end of the 2nd day they needed to be charged. It also comes with a nice carrying case and a bright orange charging cable that you would be hard pressed to lose. 3. This is where the JBL ultimately stumbles. Don't get me wrong, they're comfortable and I enjoy listening to them. But I prefer headphones that wrap around your ear instead of laying on them. The padding squishes on my ears and makes them hot after a while which I ultimately either have to adjust or just remove them altogether. I don't have this problem with my Bose noise cancelling and it's one of the main reasons I normally stay away from anything other than those types. Also, to be honest, the headphones look a little goofy on your head. The padding makes them stick out and they aren't nearly as slick or stylish as other brands. But that's a small gripe. If you want good quality bluetooth headphones at an affordable price I definitely recommend the JBL everest. They have solid battery life, good bluetooth range, and quality sound. Great bang for your buck!

It's kind of a given at this point that high end JBL headphones are going to have good audio quality and a plethora of supplementary perks to justify the premium price you pay for them. As a result when I first tried these out there was only one thing that I was really focused on: how comfortable would a set of headphones this size be when the padding is designed to press down on the ear instead of sit over the top of it? Much to my surprise, the answer was: great! In fact they work so well that I actually now prefer them to the larger over-the-ear design. As it turns out, there are a few advantages to having the headphones sit like they do. One of them is the amount of noise that this thing blocks out. The first time I put them on, I actually had to go back and confirm that noise cancellation wasn't one of the features of this set. And the faux-leather padding does a great job of conducting heat away from your ears, making this a very comfortable set to wear for hours on a plane, train, or anywhere else where you're primarily interested in drowning out the ambient noise. Another nice thing about these headphones is their ease of use. It's obvious that making this thing dead simple to use was a real priority for the engineers. While most Bluetooth devices provide feedback through tones and blinking lights, these headsets directly speak to you, providing instructions in English as to what you need to do next. This is particularly appreciated when using the ShareMe feature, which lets you pair the headset to another Bluetooth device to mirror the audio you're getting. That feature, by the way, is another highlight of these headphones. While wired headphones have had audio splitters available for ages to allow two people to privately listen to the same source, doing the same with Bluetooth devices has always been an exercise in frustration for anyone who wasn't very tech-savvy. With these, it's dead simple. Press a dedicated button, and the Everest headphones will automatically pair with any Bluetooth headset in the vicinity - including ones from other brands! As for the listening experience, as mentioned before the audio quality is great. The biggest factor in quality I found was which version of Bluetooth you used - while the headphones will pair with any transceiver, I definitely noticed that 1st and 2nd generation transceivers were less reliable when it came to delivering audio. Fortunately, there's always the option to plug in a wire and run them through a standard audio jack. All in all, these are a very solid piece of hardware that I have no difficulty recommending if you're looking for high quality portable audio.

The headphones are comfortable. It doesn’t seem like it’s padded very much, but it was padded well enough for a comfortable extended listening experience. Overall, the headphones feel plasticky but are solidly built. The headphones came with an awesome, molded hard shell case. They also come with a USB charging cable and an aux cable. The charging cable was bright orange like the JBL Harman logo on the box. Not my first choice in color, but it’s certainly eye catching. Pairing was quick and seamless. The headphones advertise 20 hours of use per charge. So far I’ve been using them infrequently for two days, and they haven’t required charging yet. The sound is loud and crisp. Bass is good, and the sound was nice and full. Overall, I’m liking these headphones.

I am so impressed with the JBL Everest 310 wireless headphones! I am a music producer and have been looking for a nice pair of headphones for awhile. I was going back and forth between Sennheiser and Sony when i stumbled upon the JBL display in the store and tried these out. I was immediately impressed with the crystal clear sound quality and comfort. They're not too bass heavy like the sony's and sound great with mids and highs too. The ear piece is comfortable for extended periods of time and the plastic headband feels sturdy and not too tight. They are super easy to connect and also come with the headphone cable if you choose to listen not wirelessly. Controls on the right earpiece are also super easy to use. Overall i am super impressed with this set and there needs to be more talk about these headphones!
