Q: is the jbl free earbuds waterproof?
A: They have an IPX5 water resistance rating. Which essentially mean they have some resistance to splashing and sweat. As long as you don't immerse them in water they are good for outside use.
Q: How good are they for running and not falling of your ears and sweat?
A: It is important to use the right size ear tip to get them to seal tightly over your ear canal. If you fit them properly they will not fall out easily. They come with small, medium, and large ear tips. There are also gel sleeves in sized medium and large included that can help provide a tight fit for rigorous activities.

Q: Can you listen to music with the left ear while the right ear is charging?
A: No because the left headphone can not be used independently of the right one. The left one will only ever pair to the right one. The right headphone can be used by itself though.
Q: Are these noise cancelling for gyms that play really loud music?
A: These are PASSIVE noise cancelling - meaning the tighter you make the fit - the better the noise cancelling will be. Active noise cancelling uses battery power to help mask sounds - the JBL Free X version DOES NOT do that. Likely you will be able to hear a little of the loud music...
