Meets Expectations - Great Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you know how to use the Google Home app, setting up this speaker should be very easy and relatively quick. The sound is great. Portability is terrific for moving from room to room. Meets all expectations. If you like the google environment this is a very good option. Note: Comes with a UBS-C cable, but no plug. JBL should include the plug. The first plug I used did not charge the device, fortunately, I had another one on hand that worked just fine.

Great Sound, sturdy and durable for outdoor use.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This speaker cranks out great sound. It is durable and I am not worried about it at the campsite, backyard or anywhere else outdoors. The charge was impressive and it played for 8 hours as advertised. Bluetooth also performed well at a good distance. No manual included or app that I can find so far, it would be nice to know how much charge is left and if there was a sound equalizer program. I am happy with the performance.

Great sound and really handy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having owned a couple of much more affordable Cambridge Audio BT speakers, I really wanted something that supported hands free Google Assistant activation. This gets used in various places, including the bathroom during showers, or outside while working on various things. It gets pretty loud without any appreciable distortion, and has a much better overall sound signature with more bass than the Cambridge Audio Oontz Angle 3 Ultra I have (although granted that's a fraction of the price). Overall this feels more premium although it would be nice if it had a broader array of physical controls like the Cambridge Audio units. Build quality, fit & finish, and overall appearance is definitely nicer. To date I've only used it by broadcasting to it as a Chromecast device so I can't speak to the bluetooth experience, but it has worked very well for me.

Great sounds smart speaker with maybe one concern.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This speaker is great. The sound is excellent for the size and the fact that it is portable is awesome. My only concern I have is the wifi reach may not be that great. I have had this outside by my pool and when I ask Google it flashes real quick but then won't do the command. I can ask my phone right next to it the same thing and it won't have any issues. But I'm not going to sing it for that sense everything does work as it should and works well. I compare this to other portable smart speakers but this earned my money because of the price and sound. The others were about $100 more and we're larger, this one is a great compact size.

Great Speaker for the $$$; highly recommended.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As you'd expect from JBL, speaker has good sound for it's size. Setting up the google assistant in the google home app was simple to do. Having the speaker on a changing stand makes it simple to pick up the speaker and take it anywhere in the house, on the deck for listening. Once configured, very easy to play your favorite channels / playlists on SiriusXM or Spotify. EZ to use as a voice activated speaker phone to make phone calls also.

Great Speaker, Finicky Charging Base
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a sweet little Wi-Fi and bluetooth speaker with plenty of sound for playing outside on the patio. The sound is good from highs to lows. The charging stand is nice but a bit finicky. Sometimes you can put the speaker on the stand and it does not charge. The fix is to put the speaker on the stand with the battery indicator facing you and adjust position if the battery indicator does not light up.
