Q: Will these work for a standard laptop computer?
A: Absolutely. I use mine with my laptop, my desktop computer, my tablet, my MP3 player and my smart phone.
Q: How long is the cord for these headphones??
A: About 4 feet. I like the cord which has a textured cloth wrapping. I separately purchased an extension cord as I use these to listen to my TV and needed more distance from my TV.
Q: Do these work with a switch lite?
A: Yes. Son uses them for his online gaming and switch when he's not on the Xbox.
Q: do these have a mute capable switch and a volume switch
A: No, but it has a button for skipping, playing, and pausing.

A: An average speaker comes with a sensitivity of around 87 dB to 88 dB. A speaker with a sensitivity rating over 90 dB is considered excellent. but here is not even close to the best
A: I think there might be too big for a three year old. Better for an older child or an adult.
