Q: Will this hold an iphone 11 upright?
A: No. The grip doesn't stretch enough for a vertical placement, just horizontal.
Q: Will this hold a phone wow it's still in its case like an OtterBox phone protector case
A: Phone plus case must be between 56-91mm, or 2.2-3.6", per the GripTight One Mount package.
Q: Hello does this fit an iPhone 8 Plus?
A: Yes I use it on my 6s plus and it's about the same size
Q: Can this Mount turn vertical for IG and FB stories?
A: The mount only screws onto whatever tripod you've got. If your tripod doesn't have a rotation of some sort, then you're only going to have a horizontal placement of your phone as the grip doesn't stretch far enough for a vertical placement.
Q: Will this mount vertically hold a Motorola smart phone?
A: I don't know about the Motorola but it held the Galaxy Ultra S 21 just fine. It's a bigger phone and I had no issues whatsoever with it holding it in many angles in order to take photos using a tripod.
A: I bought a Gimbal from FreeVisiom Vital M Pro that can attach to you tripod or itself and has wifi charging and it follows and etc., pls search either in Google or From Office Dept good luck
A: The JOBY GripTight ONE MOUNT will NOT hold a device that is 5 1/4". Phone (plus case, if you're leaving the case on) must be between 56-91mm, or 2.2-3.6", per the GripTight One Mount package. The threaded mount is industry standard 1/4"-20 thread, and should work with any standard tripod mount that works with a traditional camera.

A: Phone (plus case, if you're leaving it on) must be between 56-91mm, or 2.2-3.6", per the GripTight One Mount package. I looked up the Samsung Galaxy S7; it is 2.74" wide, so it should fit just fine.
