Great Option!

I feel much more at ease now that the camera is working around the clock keeping watch over my car. If you own this camera then this is a "no brainer"! Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a really gteat invvestment to ensure your car records (and it does 30 seconds before and after whenever touched - and I mean just a touch - or ANY gsensor detection) those bumps or wrecks that DO happen. It has saved my bacon and answered questions that no one could answer until the video evidence was seen. It is a must to have parking mode enabled on the kenwood a301 and a601 in car cameras.

If you are getting a dash cam that is the only way to go. If you forget to plug in your dash cam & you have an accident then you wasted your money, & if you plug the dash cam in & forget to unplug the little thing then you will end up w/a dead battery. Like I say I am VERY happy w/the installation & it is well worth the investmentment.

They where simple and straight forward to install, took me longer to hide the cable behind the trim as i was cery careful not to break or crank thectrim. Works as intended

Hard Wiring for Kenwood Video Cam

Only problem item should of been included with the video camera instead of having to purchase separately.
