Q: The new key fob does not have a panic button, why?
A: Hello! I can answer your question! The Simplisafe keyfob is 2nd gen and can only be used with Simplisafe3. There is a small red button on the top of the keyfob to prevent accidental triggarage. So, if you are scared when walking in the dark to home< you can be clutching the top of the keyfob. The keyfob will work within 200ft from the Base Station.
Q: Can two of these pair to one system
A: (continued) Successfully added the same keyfob to our Michigan base-station after having added it to our Ohio farm base-station. Arming/disarming one system via that keyfob has no affect on the other system's setting. We verified this by observing the distant system via the Simplisafe app.
