The HD Remaster & Tech Demo for KH3
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is another great addition to the Kingdom Hearts Universe if you haven't gotten a chance to play Dream Drop Distance this is the best way to play it in the most comfortable and fluid control way honestly. The Remaster is solid with the graphics getting a nice bump up. This is an essential part because you really need to play this game before starting Kingdom Hearts 3 when it comes out. Then there is the 0.2 Birth by Sleep game which honestly is a tech demo that is fairly short but nicely demonstrates a good look at the combat for Kingdom Hearts 3 and graphics for it coming up. This is a gorgeous part of the 2.8 collection and sadly a bit shorter then I feel it should have been. There are collectibles which if you're interested in gives it replayability but it may not be to everyone's liking. The last part of the game is a cinematic for Kingdom Hearts X (Kingdom Hearts Unchained X or Kingdom Hearts Union X the mobile game) it mainly is there to give some background that is shown in the mobile game and yet I am not sure I appreciate it since there already is another season in the game introducing, even more, people that so far I am not sure is necessary info for getting lore that is missing in this cinematic but it does give you the main basics that is mainly lore for understanding the Kingdom Hearts Universe for the closing of the saga. I would completely recommend this but please be aware that the value for this is high only if you are not paying the $60 premium since if you have to liken this collection to anything its the Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes to Kingdom Hearts 3 but with more impact only because of Dream Drop Distance HD remaster which if you have a 3DS might be cheaper but this is definitely something if not you will enjoy to complete your dive into the Kingdom Hearts Universe

Perfect Way to Prepare for KH3
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis collection consists of two games and a movie. I recommend this to anyone who wants to play Kingdom Hearts 3. Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 contain information that is important for the upcoming entry for this series. If anyone hasn't played some of the handheld games in the past, don't worry because DDD has a feature which summarizes the different plots for the previous games. DDD is almost the same as the original 3DS version but it's still an enjoyable game.0.2 is a short game, but it gives you a good taste of what KH3 would be like. The graphics do take some time to get used to, but they looked nice on the screen. The Back Cover movie was also neat because I finally get to hear what the characters in KHX sound like. For the Back Cover movie, some knowledge of KHX is required. Fortunately, information on KHX is available on the Internet, so playing the actual KHX game isn't needed. If you're interested in playing KH3, this game is a must buy.

The game exceeded my expectations
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendFirst and foremost, The previous review on the game is innacurate. The game just released on 1/24 and the review was written 12/30. Loading times are definitely not slow on the game. I have a regular PS4 (not a pro) and load times are just fine. For clarification, it's two games and a movie. Dream drop distance is a remake of the 3ds, 2.8 is an entirely new game (only like three hours of gameplay) and back cover is a movie based off the mobile game. Graphics are okay on DDD considering it's a remake of a Nintendo 3ds platform. 2.8 is beatiful and gives a good idea of what three will look like. DDD takes place after KH2 and 2.8 is after the events of Birth by Sleep. If you are someone that's played the series before they're good collectibles and these titles are what will tie KH3 together since these games provide a lot of information and the events in the game lead up to KH3. The storyline is good.

Solid, albeit a questionable package
|Posted .Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendKH3D has to carry this package and while it’s okay, it’s not exactly the best game in the series, so if you’re getting this, it’s probably for the 0.8 content, which I would recommend getting just on its own if that was an option, simply to pass on 3D.

Load times load times
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI love Kingdom Hearts. I'm waiting for 3. Like everyone else. But this gives a nice time killer until then. You get FM which adds that bit of WTF challenge to a game whose original US release was too easy with how powerful Sora got. I still wish they balanced your party members. They're only there in the start of the game and as summon/drive material. I hope they fix this. You get a good collection of games and BBS is a great addition with the graphical update. My only issue with this collection and like many others are the dreadful load times. There's a reason why speedrunners don't do this version for charity events. The game is plagued by long load screens for almost any transition. Why not, Square Enix, you make collections with 2 discs at least. You did this for 1.5 with 1 full game, 1 "mobile" game, and cinematics. It shouldn't be that hard to separate the discs. I digress. If you love the KH series, grab this. It's worth the price especially now and you get a chance to relive the games long before 3 decides to come out.
