Gorgeous appliance
Its a toaster, and it toasts nicely, at a few different levels. Practice allows you to figure out what setting works best for you (my advice: start low... I burnt my first slice of bread at level 4! The wide slot is very convenient if you are an amateur of boule or other large bread slices. But more importantly, it's a really clean, solid, beautiful counter-top appliance. A bit retro in its design, this toaster works well in a modern kitchen.

Well built
This is a well made toaster. I’ve had mine for many years and it shows no wear and tear. The slots are wide enough for bagels, and long enough to put a couple slices in the same side. The dial allows you to adjust the temp if you like your food toasted lighter or darker. It has a preset bagel button, a defrost button, and a handy keep warm button.

Beautiful Design
Gotta love being able to toast two bagels at the same time. Even better, long slices of sourdough! This toaster is a lot bigger in profile than I expected but for me it's a good thing.
