KitchenAid - KSM105GBCER Tilt-Head Stand Mixer - Empire Red

It's a really good stand mixer! Easy to handle, easy to clean.

We have looked at these and different types/brands for a while. We picked up the middle of the road version and it has been great so far. The glass bowl is great, tilt head feature we like a lot. We are looking forward to adding attachments down the road (want to try the pasta items). Some folks seem to indicate the unit was noisy but we did not observer anything like this. We have made different batches with differ thicknesses and all mixed well and easily.

This purchase was meant to down-size the footprint (and height) of our mixer. We had a Kitchenaid professional stand mixer and decided the smaller size would be better for our limited counter space - and the lower height would be better since it would fit under the cabinet easier). We were expecting to lose some power, but honestly we were surprised to see it could easily do every thing the professional model could. Additionally, this one has a larger selection of mixing bowls (such as glass bowls) that the professional model lacks. It does not have speeds as slow as the professional mixer, which could result in more splashing when you start mixing. But it hasn't been a problem. The mixer looks great and performs great. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a stand mixer for their kitchen.

I have wanted one of these for a long time and it does not dissapoint! It came with the dough hook, wire wisk, and beater, so it is great not to have to buy any of those attachments. The bowl on my model is glass and makes it super easy to monitor what you are mixing, just in case you have to scrape the bowl down. I had to adjust the height of the beater a little bit when I first took it out of the box, but the booklet tells you exactly how to do it. There are also some good recipes included, and pointers for mixing certain things. I am very happy with my purchase.

I have tried other stand mixers, not wanting to spend "all that money" for something I didn't know how much I would use. But after burning the motor up in another brands mixer kneading bread dough and purchasing another one that wasn't big enough and made a lot of noise...I decided to buy this fabulous mixer and I haven't looked back! It is perfect! It kneads bread dough like a pro...mixes cookies and cake batters like NO other! I actually use it more than I thought I would. Money well spent! Great mixer....you won't be sorry...

I bought this mixer to replace my slightly smaller Kitchenaid mixer with the 4.5 quart bowl. This mixer came with the 5 quart glass bowl which I really like. The beater has a silicone blade around the side edge that scrapes the sides of the bowl with every pass eliminating the need to continually stop and scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula. It mixes all the way to the bottom of the bowl - much better than my old one. This is a great product.

Before I bought this mixer, making cookies were a struggle. I've tried so many times to make sure they weren't burnt. As hard as I try, I just cant seem to make it as good as mums. I was about to give up making cookies forever. It wasn't until I saw this KitchenAid Mixer. This Mixer saved my life financially and my relationship with my husband. I highly recommend purchasing this product to everyone. This is a must have mixer.

I love this mixer. I make a lot of yeast breads and the dough hook is a must. My last mixer had smaller dough hooks and the dough would wrap around the hooks and go into the mixer, which can ruin it. This doesn't happen with the KitchenAid because the disk at the top of the dough hook is large enough to catch the dough. This mixer looks very attractive as well, and it only takes half the time to mix or knead the food.
