Q: What are the three outside dimensions of the speaker?
A: The speaker measures 7.8 x 5.7 x 8.9 inches.
A: This would really depend on your surround sound receiver. These speakers have a pretty average sensitivity at 90dB/watt. The Maximum power handling is 200 W. This would allow for a maximum volume of 18000 dB. That should be sufficient for you're purposes, and you may be pretty happy with the results. Just be aware that you shouldn't crank it at 200 W for too long. 200 W is the peak power handling, not a constant power handling. I use mine as stereo speakers for hi fi because of their bright sound. My receiver puts out only 63 Watts/channel, but for my somewhat modest listening, it's more than enough power for me. Just don't expect too much bass out of them.
Q: Will these work for front speakers in a large room, say 25x36 or should I go up to the next size?
A: I am using these for my rear surround speakers and they do just fine. My front speakers are Klipsch RP-250F Reference Premier Floorstanding Speakers. These Klipsch Reference R-15M monitor speakers are good for smaller applications such as a desk or bookshelf.
A: As long as your tuner has an amplifier, then they will work.

A: Yes, purchase side-clamping wall mounts. They do not have their own built in screw-holes for mounting on a stand or to a mount.

So the answer is no. You will need an amp between your computer and these speakers. Be careful plugging and unplugging from a computer while the amp is on. Shut it off before changing any connections.
