Q: Are all the components able to be upgraded in this computer?
A: Do not buy this PC... I did and now I own a BRICKED PC because the BIOS is not compatible with the Windows 11 update. Eventually you will get an error when you re-boot that says Error 0135: CPU Fan Failure Then you press F2 and you get error BlInitializeLibrary Failed 0xc0000001 Also you will not be able to boot from USB to try and fix the issue.
Q: Is the RAM for this system 2x8GB sticks or 1x16GB tstick?
A: The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop, model number 90RB001LUS ships with 2x UDIMM,8GB,DDR4,3200,Samsung MEMORY, Lenovo Part Number - 5M30V06840.
Q: Is the RAM replacable/can you add more than 16GB?
A: You can add more sticks or upgrade the current two. One thing you must know is that the Lenovo bios does not allow you to enable xmp or change the speed of the memory in the bios to match your new RAM’s speed if it’s anything other than the 3200mhz of the original RAM. If you buy 3600mhz speed it will only run at 3200! The original RAM is single rank, so you could buy 2 additional sticks that are the same as the original. Find the part number and get some on eBay. This doesn’t make your setup faster. You’ll simply have more ram. If you’re maxing out 16gb of ram currently then go for it; If you aren’t I wouldn’t bother. I have 4 sticks of the original ram for a total of 32gb. I’m usually around 12 for gaming. With 30 windows open all streaming YouTube and live tv, plus running a game I can hit 17gb of usage.
Q: What power supply is provided with this PC? Can’t find it on the spec sheet.
A: The power supply is an unfamiliar brand, but it’s an 80+ gold 650w max power supply. Not half bad
Q: Will I be able to upgrade the cpu or gpu in this prebuilt pc?
A: You can upgrade both. CPU will be a standard AM4 CPU, and GPU can also be upgraded. Keep in mind, you may need to upgrade the power supply depending on the power draw of your new components. PC part picker has a website where you can calculate total wattage requirements.
Q: Am I able to upgrade the SSD In this PC
A: There are two m.2 slots on the motherboard, so you could simply just add a second one.
Q: Can this PC run windows 11?
A: The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 AMD Gaming Desktop Computer, model number 90RB001LUS, ships with Windows 11 Home 64-bit Operating System installed.
Q: If you use a Ethernet cable will it still have the WIFI issue others are having?
A: If you have an ethernet cable and plug it in properly to the back of your pc and to a router or signal extender you shouldn't have any problems.
