When placed on a surface anywhere in your home or office, this sleek design resembles a minimalist vase—but the Lexon Oblio is actually an innovative 2-in-1 tech design. The Oblio is not only a discreet charging station for your smartphone, but it also sanitizes it using built-in UV LED technology. The deep bucket-like design of the Oblio also keeps your eyes away from your smartphone screen as it charges and sanitizes—because sometimes you and your phone need a break from each other. Important information regarding charging: Connect the USB-C charging cable (included) to a USB Certified power adapter (not included). Plug the USB-C connector to the back of Oblio. When Oblio is successfully powered to an electrical source, the white LED light will light up for a few seconds. To get your charging station to operate properly, please use a Quick Charge 3.0 certified power adapter or a DC 9V 2A USB power adapter and plug it directly to a wall outlet. Using a different charger or adapter with lower specifications than mentioned may significantly affect the wireless charging performance and cause irreversible damage to your device.

Q: Does the sanitizer kill the COVID-19 virus?

A: You know its sanitizing because the UV light is on (glows purple). We have LG Stylo 4 and 5 phones in our house. Both seem to trigger the sterilizing function when dropped in without their external add on charging coil and with out an external case With a protective case on neither phone trigger sanitizing light and its intermittent whether the phones charge when they have an after market charging coil inside the case My feeling is that thickness and materials used in the external case cause too large an airgap for reliable operation. Maybe better charging coils and thinner cases will solve the issues or simply a phone built for wireless charging
