Q: Does this scratch? I was told there is a black and a black stainless and that the black doesn't scratch while the stainless does. thanks

A: My refrigerator has the black matte finish and, yes, it does show some scratches. As for the black stainless steel, I can't say whether is does or doesn't show scratches. But it would seem logical that if the object making the scratch is forceful enough, it would probably show. Just my two cents.......

Q: Does a carton of eggs (12, 18, or 24) fit in the door? If not where do you keep them?

A: They woul fit in the door top right ... but for more efficient use os space we put them in a bin in one of the drawers on the left side. Works great and easier to get to.

Q: Does the in door ice maker make enough ice for a family with 4 kids who use the ice maker a lot to fill up water bottles and drinks? I want the 32 cu ft refrigerator for the storage space, but this is the largest model with dual ice makers.

A: Bubba10 incorrectly stated that there is only one ice maker. This model (LFXS29626S) has two ice makers, one in the french door and one in the pull out freezer drawer. With both ice makers, I think enough ice can be produced to meet any family's needs.

Q: Water hook ups

A: There is only one true ice maker in the fridge and that is in the door. You will have to manually dump the ice from the ice maker into that bin in the freezer which is very easy to do and easily accessible. It only takes a few hours for the ice maker to create a full bin of ice. There is only one water line required. I appreciate that there is only one ice maker because there are fewer parts to go wrong. I also liked that the cubes were a little smaller than older ice makers.

Q: One post says that there is an ice maker in the door that you then dump into the the bucket in the freezer. Another calls it a true duel ice maker, where each bin makes its own ice. Which is it? Is there some special upgrade you need to do for both?

A: There are two icemakers. You can dump the bin from the door into the tub in the freezer to utilize more ice making ability for when you need a lot of ice. That's what we did. Ice maker in freezer also makes it's own ice.

Q: Does the freezer have three shelves?

A: No, it has one slide out drawer in addition to the large drawer/door
