Happened into Best Buy and they were having a great sale. I purchased this washer about one month ago to replace my old top loader with the constantly broken agitator. I have used it almost nonstop since it was delivered - all I can say is that I love it! It's quiet, doesn't use much water, and is so far is overall much more efficient than my previous washer. I love the way the clothes smell too - just wonderful.
A word to the wise - if you haven't had a new washer in a long time, check out your shut off valves before your new washer is delivered. I wound up having to get a plumber in to install new ones because mine were so old they wouldn't budge to try and disconnect the old machine. A little bit of a glitch but I'm in business now and loving it.
HIGHLY recommend!!!!

So I got this washer after 13 years with a top loader. I am originally from Europe and there thats all we used was front loaders. After a lot of research I decided on LG (Consumer reports has them as most reliable.
I have only had the LG 2350 for one week and I absolutely love it. It cleans so well and is very quite. The menu system is easy. The BestBuy delivery was also great.
There are many washing cycles, I tend to wash almost everything on cold. The way the LG 2350 washes in different modes sometimes it turn clockwise then goes anticlockwise at different speeds sometimes it just goes ofrward and back. The result is excellent. My white shirts actually came out white really white without bleach. :)
One more thing this model has an internal heater to heat up the water, thats why it has a sanitize mode (which I have not used yet)
At the end of the wash cycle this thing can spin VERY fast but is sooo quite LOL. Some wash cycles will not allow you to put at higher spin rates to protect your clothes.
Before the washer starts it senses how much clothes are in the washer and you can base the amount of washing liq on that.
Typically after the wash your clothes are barely wet.
I paid less than $675 for washer and same fro dryer.
The only con is that it does take long for each wash.

I have been a long time Magtag customer however when I decided to switch to a frontload LG appeared to have some extra features I thought I would like. My salesperson told me if I didn't like it in the first 30 days I was welcome to give them a call and they would switch it at no additional cost but they thought I would not be disappointed. They were so right. I have a large family and the LG washer and dryer have worked out great. I have had them for 7 months now and just purchased a second set for my son and his wife.

I do love this new washer especially the red color (that was $100 cheaper than the white one). I read good reviews on this model and decided to try it. Amazingly it works great but uses hardly any water at all. My clothes did come out super clean and spun them so dry that they dried really fast in the dryer. It holds a ton of clothes so I have fewer loads to do each week. It tells you how big the load is so you can adjust the amount of detergent which by the way you can use way less than the recommended amount on the container. It says to wipe down the door seals after each use but there is not much water in there anyway. My one complaint is that the lint filter does not drain as said. Being curious, I wanted to see how much lint was coming out so I tried to drain with the little hose and nothing came out except when you opened the filter then water poured out-about a cup or 2. LG rep said this was normal-NORMAL?!!Luckily I have a cement floor and it didn't hurt anything.LG wanted me to pay a service charge to look at it(after 10 days) and questioned why I checked the filter after only 1 week Thank you Best Buy for sending out a new one for no charge BUT the new one does the same thing!!!:( So don't buy if you don't want water pouring on your floor.

Great washing machine! Quiet, quick, cleans well...my only complaint is that I need to leave the door and soap trays open to properly dry out - seems ridiculous, but all my neighbors and friends who have front-loading machines have the same problem. Just what comes with a front loader, I guess. We have this unit stacked with a matching front-loading dryer, and it is a huge space saver. You will love the washer - can't believe how much fits inside it, compared to my old top-loading washing machine. So nice!

My husband & I bought this and its dryer (electric) counterpart last fall. It's been so great! We don't have have kids, but have a few cats so defuzzing and cleaning blankets and furniture covers is a priority!
Love that it can hold our queen size comforter and that saves on taking it to the cleaners and paying $40 to clean it there! Also great on sweaters, dedicates and everything in between!
It's so quiet. The old one (basic Maytag/Kenmore) was so loud and that was purchased in 1998. Love the chimes when it starts and stops.
Only downside, which is pretty minor is that I don't think it spins things dry as much as they could be. Haven't smelled any musty scent and try to keep the door open after the wash. I wish the door would adjust to different levels of being open. I still give it 5 stars!

This has been my faithful servant for over a year now and could not be happier. It looks great, runs almost silent, and breezes through everything I throw at it. Since I only live with another single room mate, it handles out small load efficiently, can get every bit of grime out of anything with the internal water heater and it's sanitary cycle, and is large enough to accommodate my fluffy queen comforter without complaint (though it may be too small for a king).
This is only lacking two things:
1. Some other models offer a larger drum, but as I live alone this is more than large enough for my needs and most dryers are only 7.3 cu.ft. anyway.
2. Does not have steam. But, the internal water heater is able to blast through anything I throw at it. Any garments that I may consider using the steam only feature get dry cleaned anyway.
I could not have been happier with my choice. It is priced appropriately, and has almost ever feature of the highest end model; these additional features failed to provide any value to me and this not worth the addition costs in my opinion.

I purchased this washer over 2 years ago. I have waited to write a review so I could really know how it does. I have the same washer just a little different model. I was warned by people not to purchase a front loader due to the mold issue. When the delivery driver put it in the laundry room he proceeded to spend about 30 minutes going over the entire washer and dryer with my husband and I, giving us pointers and showing us all the features. In that process he told us to always keep the washer door open when not in use so that the humidity would not build up and cause mold. I have done exactly that and It has been over two years and I have no signs of mold issue what so ever. I have really enjoyed this washer, I love the sanitary setting, I use it for the linens and towels. I also love the music it plays when the load is done :) be gone with that enoying old fashioned buzzer, lol
A:AnswerYes, the LG WM2350HWC washer features a heating element to boost the hot water temperature for Extra Hot settings. This provides improved wash performance at normal water heater settings.

A:Answeryes there is a sanitize mode that heats up the water to very hot the lg 2350 has a internal heater :) This is a great machine that I personally own and I love it
A:AnswerThe Cotton/Normal cycle takes anywhere from 45~57 minutes depending on the size of the load. With LoadSense technology, the LG WM2350HWC washer will automatically determine the water level and length of the cycle, depending on the size of the load.
A:AnswerYes, this washer can handle a king size comforter. Towers of towels, piles of sweatshirts, and a mountain of jeans? Go for it. The Large 3.7 cu.ft. washer lets you do more laundry in fewer loads. That’s time saved and sore backs avoided.
A:AnswerYes, this washer is large enough for the items you've mentioned. Towers of towels, piles of sweatshirts, and a mountain of jeans? Go for it. The extra large capacity (4.3 cu.ft.) tub lets you do more laundry in fewer loads. That’s time saved and sore backs avoided!
