$799.00 for a 65" 4k TV with HDR? Had to be a misprint. No. It wasn't. It is not the most high end 4k TV to be sure. If you want high end HDR and pristine picture go elsewhere and be prepared to empty your wallet and max your credit card. But for a very reasonable price, you get a big screen, very natural color reproduction, good contrast and nice smart features. This was a gift for a family member and it worked out perfectly! Paired with the LG 4k player (also low cost - on sale at BB for $79.00) it makes a terrific entry into the world of 4k at a fraction of the cost is was just a year ago. Compared the pic with comparable Samsung and Sony and fared quite well. Good buy! Would definately recommend to those looking for a bargain to wade into 4k waters.

I think that at the time of this review this is a good deal for the price. There is a balance - No it's not OLED and you can tell if you have seen them side by side. There is a fair amount of back light bleed that you can reduce by adjusting the settings. It will take some time to go through the default settings to get a decent picture at home - the "TrueMotion" is just awful so let that be the first thing to turn off. It is however a great size and I do like the picture quality once adjusted. Great connections on the back. The app store includes Redbox on demand, Crackle, YouTube and Netflix of course. It also has a ethernet port which is good for any 4k content.

We've had this TV for a little over 2 weeks and we like it so far. The picture is crispier than our 5 year old HDTV Samsung, however, I think this TV has a bit of a darker picture depending on what you are watching (specially when watching movies). I have not had time to sit down and mess with the remote and manual but I certainly plan on doing it. I also think the acoustics are not that good but again it could be my living room too (high ceilings, wood flooring, etc). I still give this TV a solid 4 stars for the price and the picture quality. The Geek Squad crew deserves a 10 and for their service I would definitely buy all my future TVs from Best Buy!

This TV has a nice picture, a good sound, and it’s super easy to set up. LG is a good brand. All of our TVs are LG and we never had issues with them. If you decide to hang this TV, be mindful of the type of wall mount you get. We ran into an issue with the bars on the brackets covering the connections on the back of the TV. We had to shorten the bars on the wall mount so they would not be an issue. It worked out and we are happy with the TV so far. I’m sure LG has wall mounts specific for this TV, but we did not check into it since we already had the wall mount.

The picture and sound quality of this TV is just like being in a theater. After adjusting levels to my particular tastes, I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. The sound is excellent without enhancement from a soundbar system (although I will be adding that later for true theater sound.) The picture is sharp and clear. It's almost like the people on screen are in the room with you. I highly recommend this TV.

We switched from a 32" to this awesome 65" LED 4K tv. We watched Takers on it last night. During the shootout scenes ( and the test of the movie ) it was amazing to see the fast refresh rate the quality picture. It's like our own theater in our home. Highly recommend this LG!! If you go to SLC Best Buy work with Eric, he's professional, down to earth and knows his merchandise!

I recently bought this tv and the picture quality is absolutely great but the only problem with my tv is that when watching widescreen movies and anything that has dark scenes, there are splotches of whiteish gray on the edges of my tv. Its not noticeable during anything else other than dark scenes and it can be really bothersome if you take into consideration on how this tv isn’t a cheap tv at all. Not good considering this tv costs $800+

I returned my 65”, it was just too big for my living room. But while I watched it, I loved it! The only thing I would be careful with is where you’ll be mounting/placing the unit. If it’s facing a window with any sunshine, you’ll have 65 giant inches of glare! I take it you’ll have the same issue with most others, so this is just a suggestion/precaution.
