A: We had an issue that when the sound bar sat in front of the TV, the sound bar covered the power button and part of the bottom of the TV. So my husband built a small wooden box that we put under the TV to elevate the TV . The sound bar is about 6 inches out from the TV. I was not happy that this was the only solution we could think to make it work. On the LG website there is a very nice stand on the page, but no way to purchase it. Someone else posed the same question, where to purchase and it was a-prop used for the photo only. Our setup is on a stand not wall mounted.
Q: Does LG have any plans to add support for Dolby Vision passthrough to the 10YG?
A: The LG SL10Y 5.1.2 Channel Sound Bar w/Meridian Technology & Dolby Atmos, Model # SL10YG supports 4K Passthrough. 4K Passthrough is a feature that allows a video source to pass unaffected through the Soundbar to a 4K TV without any processing. If that signal is carrying a Dolby signal that has dynamic metadata or an HDR10 signal that is carrying static metadata, it will pass through unaffected as will any video created with Chroma Subsampling, be it 4:4:4, 4:2:2, or 4:2:0. The Soundbar also has an HDMI 2.0 In and an HDMI 2.0 Out, both of which are HDCP compliant and most, if not all receivers that are HDCP 2.2 compliant will allow 4:4:4 color signals to pass through unharmed. ^CP
A: It becomes a 7.1.2 when you add the rear speaker kit. 2 surround rear speakers and a wireless transmitter that plugs into an a/c outlet. There are speaker wires that run from the transmitter to the two speakers. I believe it adds about 140 watts more to the entire system giving you the 710w.

A: I can’t tell any difference, mine is under the tv on a oak shelf I made and it sounds great. Room filling.

A: I have a B7A. Did not notice any sync issues with arc. Watched a whole movie with dolby atmos.
